A Recent Testimony from Pastor Maung

We were located about 5km from where AA and the military counsel (SAC) had a battle. There were fighting with all means possible including from air and from the sea. Heavy artillery fell two times in the village and seven times outside the village. I saw one man die on the spot while another six people had heavy injuries. Five cows died, and there were bullets flying in the bunkers where we hid ourselves. Bullets landed on the road where we hid underneath. But God protected us so we were not hit by the bullets.

The next day, we ran into Cheng Chaung village to escape from the battle. There, we still heard the sounds of bombs and artillery fire. We were trembling inside our hearts, and all we could do was call on God. There were no phone lines. Many houses were burned down. Elderly people, pregnant women, and the sick were helpless. A lady who is our church member gave birth with severe hardship. But God protected the lady and the child.

The reason I am still alive this time is that God wants me to serve Him. Praise God!
